Steward of Nature

     The Earth has been subsisting for 4.543 billion years already, which is way much longer than any of us had ever lived. It is apparent that our home is slowly drifting, a place that was once a paradise is now gone. The rain forests, wild animals, and ice in both poles are getting lost.

     November is the National Environmental Awareness month, which has a mission to protect, restore, and enhance environmental quality towards public health, environmental integrity, and economic viability. Its vision is to have a nation empowered to protect our finite natural resources, attuned to the pursuit of sustainable development, for a clean and healthy environment that enhances the Filipino Quality of life for present and future generations.

     Let's not stop being a styeward of nature even if it is not November, or environmental awareness month. The Earth is our home, and we must never stop taking care of it since it is for us, and our future.

Our Month

      A quote I've seen in the internet says, "There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly".

      November is the National Children's Month, it commemorates the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly on Nov. 20, 1989. It aims to give children a better quality and improved way of life; to make sure children are safe and free from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation; and has a goal for children are actively participating in decision-making processes affecting their lives according to their evolving capacities.

      Moreover, this celebration aims to know more about children; on what's going on in their mind or what they could be thinking. The children are our future, and we should give them attention and love at this moment because they will be future adults that will do the same to children.

Celebrating Values of a True Filipino

     Filipinos are commonly known for our hospitality, volunteerism, and

faith or religion, and respect for elders. These values mirror the Filipino people’s rich heritage of history and culture. They manifest the things in life that Filipinos revere.
     We observe the month of November as the Filipino Values Month. Within this month, we celebrate different and

valuable values that Filipinos posses. The EsP club hosts simple yet meaningful activities for the month to promote and shape our values. It also aims to emphasize the importance and critical role of the family in strengthening Filipino values and developing individuals especially in this digital age.
     When you have values, learn to use it, devcelop it. It can mobilize all Filipinos for nation building through the practical exercise of human values in our daily lives as citizens and to awaken all to the power of these values in achieving the individual and national goals.

Celebrating Oneness of Nations

          The United Nations, or UN as it is known, is an organization that focuses on maintaining peace, security, and good relations among member nations around the world. The UN is the largest and most powerful intergovernmental organization. 

     On October 24, 1945, 51 countries came together to create the United Nations, or the U.N.. Its purpose was to promote peace and cooperation around the world. Today the United Nations is an organization made up of 193 countries, almost every nation in the world!

     An annual month-long series of events held throughout October, commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the UN charter. This celebration acts as a reminder of the importance of diversity, culture, and the spirit of brotherhood.
      Celebrating the unity of nations around the world is very important since we can gain allies or friends for upcoming problems of our country. They can help us, and we can help them too.

      Whatever culture, color, or language, we celebrate the UN month as one.
