Thanks, Junior High!

We are about to close the last page of the last chapter of this book. And we are almost halfway through this learning journey.

I learned a lot of things that made me a better person and a student. I had my teachers, and my MaxConi fam that helped me in all that I've went through this journey.
There are a few more books left to open and read. I'm ready to face all the stress and works for the coming school year. Thanks, junior high for the memories and learnings!

Which Path?

I am a year away from deciding the exact path that I will want to take. To proceed to a journey where my life will depend on. I have more than two choices, those who are told by my family, and those that I truly aspire to be.
Behind an Oscars winning show, or a record breaking structure? I am left with two choices with an entire opposite direction that it could take me, but if not good enough, it will not bring me anywhere. I've always dreamt of writing my own stories and will have the chance to say "cut!". But it is not what my family wants. They want to see me in a black or white coat in the future, which is out of my interest.
In a few months, I will take a step closer to help me decide the path I will want to chase. In a few years, I will be reading this and I'm hoping that in that time, I already made the best decision.

ISNHS: 118th Foundation Day

Whether you are a graduate or currently studying at Ilocos Sur National High School, you probably know about the so called “high school day”. It is one of the most significant event that happens in ISNHS since it is the celebration of its founding.
The High School Day celebration leaves a big memory to all ISNHS students, from the preparation or for the practices of each of the entire grade levels for the highlight of the celebration, which is the field demonstration. Before the actual dance or field demonstration, the students, teaching and non teaching staffs of ISNHS conducts a parade.
This celebration surely makes our high school memories, memorable.

Tawid

Kannawidan Festival is the most awaited festival of our province. They call it the KANNAWIDAN Ylocos Festival, it is also a time to commemorate the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province since it was separated on February 3, 1818. Kannawidan is a variant of the Ilocano word "tawid" meaning heritage or inheritance.
The celebration of their festival is joined by thousands of visitors from other parts of the Philippines and other countries in enjoying the street dancing and different contests and activites prepared by the local government with the help of the local industries and communities. There are also booths of every town with their “OTOP” or one town, one product. Celebrities, bands, and other famous personalities are invited to perform during the night.
Ilocanos have been celebrating Kannawidan for 202 years and the province will continue to preserve their home, culture, and products.
